Over the last several months, we have worked together with our community of travelers, travel providers, and others in the travel business to keep on top of the changes COVID-19 has brought us. In the past, Cheesemans’ has seen bouts of political unrest or a ship that was damaged just before a big trip, things that affected just one trip at a time that we were able to handle in one way or another without putting the company and its travelers at risk, financially or otherwise. However, we, and the entire travel industry, were not prepared to handle a global pandemic. 

As a result of the pandemic, we have decided to update our Terms and Conditions as well as keep them in a more accessible location online for you to view at any time with any device.

The most notable changes we have made are when Cheesemans’ is cancelling a trip as a result of global uncertainty surrounding travel. If your trip is cancelled by us, you have the option of:

1. Moving 100% of your payments toward a future trip, or
2. Getting a refund for the amount we are able to recover from our operators. 

Please note that these new Terms and Conditions apply for trips departing in 2021 and onward. If *you* decide to cancel a trip, the cancellation policy listed within that trip’s itinerary still applies.
