Leon Moore

Leon Moore is an award-winning naturalist, conservationist, and one of Guyana’s most accomplished birding guides. A leading eBirder and regional reviewer for eBird Guyana, he has documented over 700 bird species, the highest total in the country. Leon has contributed to scientific discoveries, co-authored research on shorebirds, and received the Guyana Tourism Authority’s Tour Guide of the Year award. He is known for exceptional field skills, deep local knowledge, and mentoring the next generation of guides.
