Our Trip Leaders
Sunil Gaur
Sunil has 15 years of experience as a naturalist, including Bharatpur where he lives, Bandhavgarh, Corbett, Ranthambhore, Kanha Jungle Lodge, and many others. He earned his master’s degree and is a member of Life Line for Nature Society, the Bombay Natural History Society, World Wildlife Fund for Nature India, and the Guide Association of Keoladeo National Park. He participates in mammal censuses, non-native plant eradication, such as water hyacinth removal, and in vulture surveys. He is a wonderful teacher with a great personality.
Scott Davis
Scott, co-owner and co-CEO of Cheesemans’ Ecology Safaris, is an expert wildlife, nature, and travel photographer. Trained as a wildlife and marine biologist, he's explored all seven continents for research and photography. National Geographic, BBC, Animal Planet, NY Times, and other prestigious publications have featured his inspiring work. Scott's passion for teaching and talent for capturing the essence of his subjects make him a highly sought-after tour leader.
Mohan Singh Solanki
Mohan turned his childhood passion into a flourishing profession. He graduated from University of Rajasthan in India and was awarded Naturalist Guide's title from the Government of Rajasthan’s Department of Forest and is an approved tourist guide from Government of Rajasthan Department of Tourism Art and Culture. Using his vast knowledge of flora and fauna he has birded and guided all over India for more than 15 years, including Keoladeo National Park.

Payments are due based on the schedule above. All reservations require a deposit to confirm reservation of your space.
Cancellations
Until the Final Payment due date, deposits are refundable except for a cancellation fee of $1,500 per person ($1,500 per person is for the pre-purchased, non-refundable and non-transferable game drives in Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Pench and the Nagpur to Delhi flight); $150 per person of the cancellation fee can be applied toward another trip if reserved within six months of the cancelled trip’s departure date. Cancellations are non-transferable. No refunds are given after the Final Payment due date.

- Transfers between the Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport hotel and the Delhi Airport on February 16 and March 3 or 4.
- Accommodations for the nights of February 16 through March 2.
- Meals from breakfast on February 17 through breakfast on March 3.
- One-way flight from Nagpur to Delhi; non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Transportation by private bus in Delhi and Agra.
- Game drives by 4×4 jeep in Bandhavgarh, Pench, Kanha, and Panna; all-day safari tickets non-refundable and non-transferable.

Not Included
- All airfare (except flights listed as included), airport and departure taxes, and excess baggage fees.
- Passport and visa fees.
- Divergent airport transfers and extra hotel nights for an extra cost.
- Gratuities – tipping is always discretionary. However, we suggest budgeting about $15 to $20 per participant per day for 16 days with our resident guides (about $240 to $320 total per participant).

- Items of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, medical costs or hospitalization, room service, alcoholic and other beverages, items not on the regular menu, etc. If you have special dietary needs, please indicate them on your Reservation Form.
Climate
Temperatures generally range from the 50’s°F at night to the 80’s°F during the day. Although most days will be hot, it can be cool and breezy in the early morning. It is the dry season, but rain is possible.
Fitness Level
Most days consist of early mornings, game drives on uneven roads, and full days in nature that require good energy levels. Most walking is optional around lodge grounds between game drives. Transportation between locations ranges between two and seven hours. Please contact us if you have any health concerns that may make this trip challenging.

On game drives in the parks, you travel in open, six-passenger 4×4 jeeps that provide 360° viewing and excellent photography opportunities; we’ll have three or less participants in each vehicle sharing with one of our resident guides, a park ranger, and a park driver. Between parks and cities travel by private bus, train, plane, or 4×4 vehicles.
