Ryan Hope-Inglis

Ryan is an accomplished polar guide and expedition leader with over 1500 days in the polar regions and 60+ voyages in Antarctica alone. He first discovered his love for the outdoors at a young age when introduced to scouting, and although he qualified as an aerospace engineer, he instead moved further south to become a Zodiac technician and driver onboard expedition vessels. Ryan is a Senior Polar Guide for the Polar Guides Tourism Association (PTGA) and a Svalbard Authorized Guide for the Arctic. Ryan loves to spend his winters in the high Arctic where he enjoys snowmobiling, hiking, and skiing, and has a keen interest in glacial dynamics, geology, and general nature.
