The animal in question is the Bat-eared fox, a small, nocturnal mammal native to the dry savannas and arid regions of southern and eastern Africa. Namibia, especially areas like Etosha National Park and the Namib Desert, is one of the best places to spot this adorable, big-eared insectivore in the wild.
